Kings & Queens of the Beach
About us
Kings & Queens of the Beach is a competitive and fun tourney where you can enjoy the sun and meet some
really cool people or should we say Volleyball people. Kings and Queens of the Beach all started in 2008 in Hermosa
Beach, California. The Vision to be a premiere competitive Coed volleyball tournament encompassing comradery, good
sportsmanship and good times. Kings and Queens provides a fun environment for all level of players.
Format of Play
Currently play Format for all tournaments is Coed Quads and Coed Doubles.
Coed Quads usaully being a higher level and Coed doubles ranging from novice to advanced.
Coed Quads - Quads with 2 guys and 2 girls on court during play at all times.
Highest scores advance to playoffs. Format will be Pool Play. If you have more than four players you may rotate them in but
there still must be 2 guys and 2 girls during play at all times. Players may keep there positions during play and do not have
to rotate but still must rotate servers in order. Long Court and Rally Scoring and no let serves.
Coed Doubles - Regular Pool format. 1 guy and 1 girl per team. Regular Fixed partner
not round robin. Short Court. Rally Scoring
